Temps in the 50s, mostly cloudy, occasional light rain, wind SW 20-40 (yes 40!) mph

Hard to stand upright today. I used my Kestrel (an anemometer) to measure the wind speed today. It was steady in the 20s gusting regularly to 40!
So hard finding birds. But, I did find a few…
I had two Redpolls at the National Forest.

Those were the only new birds today.
The gulls from yesterday appear to be hybrids of Vega/Slaty-backed/ Glaucous-winged or some combination thereof. So, do I get to count all three?
The wind made all bodies of water out here white-capped.

But the wind also gave the larger birds play time.

But one was unwelcome.

I also had several Common Ravens playing in the wind (but no photo).
At the Seawall, the usual Harlequins and Eiders were close to the shore sheltering from the wind.

No sign of yesterday’s mystery bird.
The trip list is at 45.
