Rain and wind and cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, the wind is still going to be easterly for the rest of my stay here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the worsening weather might still blow in some interesting birds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tufted Duck is still on the Airport Ponds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the godwits are all still here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I spoke too soon about the Bramblings having left, I found one this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"446\" src=\"https:\/\/franklinhaas.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Brambling_05312022.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1951\" srcset=\"https:\/\/franklinhaas.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Brambling_05312022.jpg 600w, https:\/\/franklinhaas.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Brambling_05312022-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/franklinhaas.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Brambling_05312022-404x300.jpg 404w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption>Brambling, near Seal Drive Feeder, May 31, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And at least two siskins are still here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were two late Common Goldeneyes on Lake Shirley, and the other guys had a flock of Aleutian Cackling Geese fly over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No other birds stood out as new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of bird seed&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some earlier group had brought bird seed out that had a lot of red millet in it. It is still on the feeders.
