This was our third this trip and we are only four days in!<\/p>\n<p>John and Claire called us to say they saw three Whimbrel fly off near the gas station area. We looked for them later, but with no success.<\/p>\n<p>All of the other birders here left on today&#8217;s flight and Jon, Jim, and Chris arrived and we filled them in on the lack of birds. Let\u2019s hope the brought a change of luck!<\/p>\n<p>After dinner we went back up to the lagoon and found the Bar-tailed Godwits were still here.
